Concert: MIKA @ 11:39 PM
Purchased two tickets to Mika on set today! The show is on October 18th. This will be a nice three year anniversary for Quin & I. We officially became boyfriend and girlfriend after a Mika concert on October 20th, 2009.
Mika's shows are always entertaining (and they're a great workout!)

taking a leap @ 8:46 PM
Sunday Quin, Carissa, & I went skydiving. This was Carissa's second time but Quin & I's first.
We arrived in Beloit, WI around noon. Our check-in time was at one, but we had to sign a few waiver forms & watch a video. It's weird signing something that has YOU MAY BE KILLED on it.
I was fairly nervous all day, but it didn't really hit me until our name was called at four. Once, I got the harness on, I started to panic.
However, when I got into the plane, I suddenly felt calm. The only scary part going up was the door being open and none of us strapped in!
I was second to go. I thought I would have a moment to watch the first guy go, and contemplate what was about to take place. But next thing I know, all I can see is white. I couldn't tell if I was upside down or right side up. You don't notice you're falling right away at least for me.
The free fall was over a minute. It does sort of hurt and it's freezing! I was relieved when I felt the tug of the parachute. Sadly, my eardrum ruptured. Oh well, my fault.
The experience was incredible. And I guess, you get a discount for being a second jumper if you put down $25 that day. My brother turns eighteen next month and has been wanting to do this. So, my mom and I are going half-way. Me and him will jump together.
Glad to be safe on the ground!

painting @ 9:52 PM
i just wanted to share a few of my paintings. i love painting, especially oil. i accidentally took a class in high-school & fell in love. also, i am very fortunate. my parents purchased me an easel & quin bought all my art supplies.
i've been searching for ways to spice up my apartment. i moved to chicago from the burbs in april, but we (my roommate & i) haven't had time to develop any ideas. hopefully a few of these will add life.
1) my first painting from my high-school class. honestly, i am not very good making objects 3-D. i should embrace my flat style.
2) Blackhawks! (my favorite team). i made this for my boyfriend. it isn't finished yet.
3) the first painting i made when my parents bought me an easel & supplies.
4) a painting i made today. i am thinking of adding 'call me, maybe' to it. that song is guilty pleasure plus i love the music video.
not much of a post, but i like to share things like this.

Zip Lining @ 9:00 AM
This past June, Quin & I went zip lining. We got a deal off Groupon & it was a good time. The deal is back on Livingsocial. If you live in Illinois, I'd recommend getting the deal. I also got an adorable t-shirt too.
